Job description:
Job Title: Laboratory Chemist – 1 Position
Qualification:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, or
- Diploma / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in laboratory testing, quality control, or chemical analysis is preferred.
- Freshers with strong academic knowledge may also apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with product specifications.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and testing records.
- Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and standard samples as per laboratory procedures.
- Record, analyze, and report test results accurately.
- Ensure adherence to laboratory safety standards and quality management systems.
- Assist in investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain calibration records and laboratory documentation.
- Support product development and process improvement activities as required.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality control techniques.
- Familiarity with analytical instruments and laboratory equipment.
- Good understanding of chemical analysis, testing methods, and documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and observation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office for report preparation and data management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial laboratory.
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards and laboratory safety practices.
- Experience in handling quality documentation and test reports.
Joining Requirement:
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
- Candidates who can join at short notice will be given preference.
