An OT Technician assists doctors and nurses in the operation theatre by preparing surgical instruments, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting patients before, during, and after surgery.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operation theatre before surgery
- Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses during operations
- Maintain cleanliness and infection control in OT
- Help in patient shifting and positioning
- Check and maintain OT machines and tools
- Manage OT supplies and records
- Dispose of biomedical waste safely
Required Skills & Qualification:
- Diploma or Degree in OT Technology
