Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye and vision examinations
- Diagnose vision problems and eye diseases such as myopia, glaucoma, and astigmatism
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications when required
- Advise patients on proper eye care and preventive measures
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Use diagnostic equipment and eye-testing tools effectively
- Refer patients to ophthalmologists or specialists when necessary
- Assist patients in selecting suitable corrective lenses
- Stay updated with advancements in optometry practices and technologies
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Optometry
- Valid Optometrist license/certification
- Strong knowledge of eye examination procedures and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and patient-care orientation
- Ability to work with patients of all age groups
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply

- Customer service skills
- Ability to explain medical information clearly
- Teamwork and time management skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an advantage
