Role Summary
We are looking for an Accounts Manager with strong end-to-end accounting experience to manage the complete accounts function for our manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining statutory compliance, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing day-to-day accounting operations, and coordinating with audits and internal stakeholders.
Experience Required
- 10–12 years of experience in accounts and finance operations
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting and statutory compliance management
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Accounts Management
- Oversee complete accounting operations including AP/AR, vendor/customer accounting, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure accurate recording of transactions, timely closures, and proper documentation
- Statutory Compliance (Complete Ownership)
- Manage compliance for applicable laws and regulations, including (as applicable):
- GST filing, reconciliations, and statutory reporting
- TDS/TCS compliance
- Professional tax / labour-related compliance (where applicable)
- Income tax compliance support (assessments, computation, notices coordination)
- Compliance calendars tracking and timely submissions
- Coordinate with consultants/auditors for returns, filings, and audit requirements
- Monthly / Annual Reporting
- Prepare and finalize monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow support)
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure closure of accounts within defined timelines
- Tally/ERP & Controls
- Maintain accounting system accuracy (e.g., Tally/ERP or similar)
- Implement and follow accounting controls and ensure internal process discipline
- Ensure proper trial balance, MIS, and reporting accuracy
- Audit & Coordination
- Coordinate with internal audits, statutory auditors, CA firms
- Provide required documents, explanations, and reconciliation support for audit activities
- Support notice handling and compliance responses (with guidance where needed)
- Banking & Working Capital Support
- Manage bank-related reconciliations and follow-ups
- Support payment planning, expense tracking, and cash flow monitoring
- Team / Vendor Coordination
- Guide and supervise junior accounting staff (if applicable)
- Ensure smooth coordination with purchase, sales, stores, and operations teams for correct accounting entries
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance
- Expertise in reconciliations and financial data accuracy
- Strong communication and documentation skills for audit and compliance purposes
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complete accounts & compliance timelines
Educational Qualification
- CA Inter / CA / MBA Finance or B.Com/M.Com with strong accounting & compliance background (as per company preference)
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in MSME / manufacturing accounting
- Ability to handle pressure, deadlines, and multiple compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of regulatory timelines and filing discipline
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
