Key Responsibilities-ITI Electrician
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in machines, panels, motors, and circuits.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
- Work with motors, transformers, switchgear, PLC panels, and control circuits.
- Ensure proper functioning of lighting, power distribution, and backup systems.
- Maintain electrical logs, reports, and maintenance records.
- Assist in machine installation and commissioning.
⚡ Skills & Knowledge Required
- Strong understanding of AC/DC circuits, wiring, and industrial electrical systems.
- Knowledge of motor starters (DOL, Star-Delta), relays, contactors, and MCC panels.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs (like Siemens/Allen-Bradley) is often preferred.
- Ability to use testing tools like multimeters, clamp meters, and meggers.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- ITI Electrician certification (mandatory).
- NCTVT, 1–3 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing setup preferred.
