Position Summary
The Automation Technical Engineer is responsible for ensuring all field wiring, panel terminations, and automation infrastructure are executed according to Homsense standards. This role acts as the final quality gate between execution and commissioning.
Key ResponsibilitiesPanel Board Execution
- Perform and verify all panel terminations.
- Ensure proper labeling of all cables.
- Verify incoming and outgoing wiring.
- Ensure neat and maintainable panel execution.
Site Wiring Verification
- Verify room-wise wiring.
- Ensure cable routing follows approved drawings.
- Verify conduit and cable requirements.
- Identify and rectify deviations.
Gateway & Communication Infrastructure
- Verify installation locations for gateways.
- Verify communication lines.
- Coordinate with contractors regarding network and communication requirements.
Contractor Support
- Guide electricians during execution.
- Explain wiring requirements.
- Verify work before closing ceilings and walls.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure first-time-right execution.
- Minimize rework.
- Prepare projects for commissioning.
