Job Summary:
The Conventional Formwork / Mivan Shuttering Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all shuttering, formwork, and scaffolding activities at the construction site. The foreman ensures that conventional and Mivan aluminum formwork is erected, aligned, dismantled, and maintained as per approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations while achieving project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all conventional shuttering and Mivan formwork activities.
- Read and understand structural and architectural drawings.
- Plan daily manpower deployment and allocate work efficiently.
- Ensure proper assembly, alignment, leveling, and dismantling of formwork.
- Check dimensions, verticality, line, level, and quality before concrete pouring.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, QA/QC Engineers, Surveyors, and Reinforcement teams.
- Ensure timely availability of formwork materials, tools, and accessories.
- Monitor productivity and minimize material wastage and damage.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
- Inspect formwork before concrete casting and obtain necessary approvals.
- Supervise stripping and cleaning of shuttering materials after concrete achieves required strength.
- Maintain daily progress reports and manpower records.
- Ensure housekeeping and proper storage of formwork materials.
- Resolve site issues related to shuttering and coordinate with the project team.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Conventional Formwork and Mivan Aluminum Formwork Systems.
- Ability to read construction drawings.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good planning and coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of construction quality standards.
- Awareness of safety regulations and safe work practices.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma / Higher Secondary (Preferred).
- Certification in Construction Safety (Preferred).
Experience:
- Conventional Formwork Foreman: 5–10 years of relevant experience.
- Mivan Shuttering Foreman: 5–10 years of experience in high-rise residential/commercial projects using Mivan system.
Work Location:
- Construction Project Site ( KOLTE PATIL , PUNE, MAHARASHTRA)

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
