We are looking for a Software Development Manager to lead a team of engineers building an advertiser Intelligence Center (AIC) service — the contextual backbone that powers our AI agents. You will own the technical vision, people development, and delivery for the systems that aggregate, structure, and serve advertiser context to our agents, enabling AI-driven workflows that help account teams deliver better outcomes for advertisers at scale.This is a leadership opportunity to build and grow a high-performing engineering team in a greenfield space. You will define how advertiser knowledge is represented, retrieved, and reasoned over by autonomous agents — setting technical direction while developing engineers and shipping at pace. You will work at the intersection of large-scale data systems, Generative AI, and production agent frameworks, partnering closely with science, product, and sales leadership.

Key job responsibilities
- Hire, develop, and retain a team of strong software engineers — setting a high bar for technical talent and creating an environment where engineers grow.
- Own the technical vision and roadmap for the advertiser context center, translating business needs and science requirements into a clear engineering plan.
- Drive architectural decisions for high-throughput, low-latency context services that power AI agents at scale.
- Partner with Applied Scientists, Product Managers, and cross-functional leaders to align engineering delivery with business priorities.
- Ensure operational excellence across the team's services — setting standards for reliability, monitoring, incident response, and on-call practices.
- Remove blockers, manage dependencies across teams, and maintain delivery velocity in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
- Represent the team's work to senior leadership through clear written and verbal communication (documents, business reviews, roadmap narratives).
- Foster a culture of ownership, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
