Hiring: Sr. Executive Sales / Assistant Manager – Freight Forwarding & Logistics
Location: Thane
Experience: 3–5 Years
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and profile. Candidates with USA Trade / US Freight Forwarding experience may be offered a higher package.) + Sales Incentives.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Professional with experience in Freight Forwarding and Logistics Sales. The ideal candidate should have strong business development skills and the ability to generate new business opportunities within the Import/Export, Air Freight, and Sea Freight segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Freight Forwarding & Logistics Sales across Import, Export, Air Freight, and Sea Freight services.
- Identify and approach shippers, freight forwarders, CHAs, and potential clients for business development.
- Generate new leads and convert prospects into long-term customers.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients to present company services and solutions.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to generate repeat business.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Operations, and Documentation teams for smooth shipment execution.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and RFQs to customers.
- Maintain regular sales reports and updates for management review.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and assist in collections from customers.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management within the Freight Forwarding / Shipping / Logistics industry.
- Experience in USA Trade Sales will be a strong advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Presentable and professional personality.
- Candidates residing in Thane or nearby locations will be preferred.
