Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced NetSuite Administrator / Developer to join our team on a part-time contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite, SuiteScript, Suitelets, and NetSuite customization.
Experience using Claude AI / Generative AI to design, develop, or enhance business applications and automation solutions will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and customize the NetSuite ERP platform based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain Suitelets, SuiteScript, workflows, scripts, and custom applications.
- Build integrations and automation within the NetSuite ecosystem.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable NetSuite solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite configuration, scripting, and application issues.
- Develop custom tools and applications using NetSuite APIs and SuiteScript.
- Work with Claude AI as an AI engine to build, prototype, and enhance business applications.
- Explore opportunities to leverage Generative AI/LLMs for workflow automation and application development.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions efficiently.
- Maintain technical documentation for customizations, scripts, integrations, and applications.
- Provide ongoing support, optimization, and improvements to existing NetSuite solutions.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience working with NetSuite administration and/or development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite.
- Strong knowledge of SuiteScript and Suitelets.
- Experience developing NetSuite customizations, workflows, and automation.
- Understanding of NetSuite APIs and integrations.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with JavaScript and web application development.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time/contract environment.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with Claude AI / Anthropic Claude.
- Experience building applications using AI/LLMs as an application engine.
- Knowledge of Generative AI, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities with business applications or ERP systems.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a NetSuite technical specialist who can independently handle NetSuite administration and development while also being comfortable experimenting with Claude AI and modern AI-driven application development.
