Job Title: Senior PEB Detailer / Checker
Role Overview-
We’re looking for a Senior PEB Detailer / Checker who has strong experience in PEB and structural steel detailing. In this role you’ll be responsible for creating and checking detailed drawings ensuring accuracy quality and full compliance with project standards. You’ll guide junior detailers coordinate with engineers and act as the final quality gate before drawings move to fabrication or site.
Key Responsibilities-
- Prepare and review shop drawings erection drawings and GA drawings for PEB projects
- Check drawings thoroughly for accuracy dimensions connections and design compliance
- Ensure all detailing meets client specifications project codes and industry standards
- Review and validate Bill of Materials (BOM) for all structural components
- Identify drawing errors clashes inconsistencies and guide the team in corrections
- Coordinate closely with engineers project managers and detailers to meet project timelines
- Communicate technical feedback clearly to the team and clients when required
- Support in resolving drawing related issues during project execution
- Maintain updated knowledge of PEB detailing practices CAD tools and relevant codes
- Provide technical mentorship to junior detailers and ensure quality output
Required Skills-
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent CAD tools
- Deep understanding of PEB components steel detailing concepts and industry codes
- Excellent attention to detail with a “zero error” checking mindset
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and connection details accurately
- Strong communication and problem solving approach
- Proficiency in Excel for BOM and data handling
- Ability to guide and support a detailing team
Education & Experience-
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in PEB or structural steel detailing
- Hands on experience in checking shop drawings GA drawings and BOMs
- Proven experience mentoring detailers and maintaining quality control
