A practical event coverage programme for aspiring photographers/videographers to build a real portfolio inside the music, events, and entertainment ecosystem.
Role summary
You’ll cover live gigs and community events for GoldBERRY and deliver clean, usable media for marketing, artist archives, and recaps.
What “good” looks like (success criteria)
- You show up on time, follow the brief, and communicate clearly.
- You deliver a curated set (not a random dump) with correct naming + folders.
- Your shots capture energy, key moments, crowd + atmosphere, and brand/venue context.
- You’re respectful of artists/venues and understand when not to shoot.
Key deliverables (per assignment)
Photography
- 30–40 edited selects (JPG), plus 5–10 “hero” shots
- Optional: 10–20 raw files for archive (if requested)
Video (if applicable)
- 10–25 short clips (vertical + horizontal as per brief)
- Optional: 1 recap reel (15–45 sec) if you can edit
Responsibilities
- Attend assigned events (as per availability) and follow the shot list/brief
- Capture high-quality photos and/or videos (stable, well-framed, in focus)
- Coordinate politely with venue/artist teams; follow access rules
- Share a quick “what happened” note after the event (1–3 bullet recap)
- Maintain professionalism and represent GoldBERRY well
Must-have requirements
- DSLR / mirrorless camera (photo) + basic understanding of manual settings
- Reliable travel + punctuality
- Ability to deliver files cleanly (Drive, folders, naming)
- Good communication on WhatsApp/email (confirming arrival, deliverables, delays)
Nice-to-have
- Low-light/live gig experience
- On-camera flash familiarity (when allowed)
- Basic editing skills (Lightroom / Premiere / CapCut)
- A small portfolio (Instagram/Drive/Behance)
Support / reimbursement
For approved coverage assignments, food/beverages or travel allowance or venue support may be provided during the gig (varies by event/venue).
