We at Coforge are hiring an experience Guidewire Policy Tester with 4-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire Policy Center, ensuring the quality and reliability of our billing and claims processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively analyze requirements, develop test cases, and execute testing strategies to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into test cases for Guidewire Policy Center applications.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams to implement corrective actions.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate user training sessions as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in QA methodologies and Guidewire products.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience with Guidewire Policy Center is a must.
- Strong knowledge of Policy Center and its functionalities.
- Experience in creating and executing test cases and test plans.
- Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with SQL and database testing.
- Understanding of insurance domain and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in QA testing, specifically with Guidewire Policy Center.
- Relevant certifications in QA or Guidewire products are a plus.
