The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling home décor products, assisting customers in selecting suitable products, achieving sales targets, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role involves product consultation, relationship building, showroom management, and contributing to business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Service
- Welcome customers and understand their home décor requirements.
- Recommend suitable products based on customer preferences, budget, and interior design needs.
- Demonstrate product features, benefits, and styling options.
- Convert customer inquiries into sales and achieve monthly sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Product Consultation
- Provide guidance on furniture, wall décor, lighting, furnishings, decorative accessories, and home styling solutions.
- Stay updated on current interior design trends and product collections.
- Assist customers with color coordination, material selection, and space planning recommendations.
Showroom Management
- Ensure products are displayed attractively and according to visual merchandising standards.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness and presentation.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with inventory teams.
Order Processing
- Prepare quotations, sales orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with logistics and installation teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Follow up on customer orders and resolve concerns promptly.
Business Development
- Generate leads through walk-ins, referrals, architects, interior designers, and corporate clients.
- Participate in promotional events, exhibitions, and marketing campaigns.
- Develop relationships with architects, builders, and interior designers to generate business opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain customer records and sales data in CRM systems.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or related field preferred.
- Higher Secondary/Graduate candidates with relevant sales experience may also apply.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in retail sales, furniture sales, home décor, interior products, or lifestyle retail.
- Freshers with strong communication and sales skills may be considered.
