Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with 10 years of expertise in managing plant maintenance, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and engineering operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, improving operational efficiency, and leading maintenance teams to achieve organizational goals safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure smooth functioning of plant machinery, utilities, and equipment with minimum downtime.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor equipment performance and initiate corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and maintenance standards.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering departments for seamless operations.
- Supervise and guide maintenance engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as TPM, Lean Maintenance, and energy-saving projects.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and equipment installation/commissioning activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 10 years of experience in maintenance management within manufacturing, production, or industrial operations.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
- Experience in handling mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with maintenance planning software/CMMS tools.
- Knowledge of safety standards and statutory compliance.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Exposure to automation systems and PLC troubleshooting is an advantage.
- Good vendor management and cost-control capabilities.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
