About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer cum Video Editor who can create compelling written content and transform ideas into engaging video content. The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling skills, proficiency in video editing software, and the ability to create content that aligns with our brand identity across digital platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Writing
- Create engaging content for blogs, website pages, social media, email campaigns, brochures, and marketing materials.
- Develop compelling scripts for promotional videos, reels, YouTube videos, and advertisements.
- Research industry trends and produce SEO-friendly content.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, and grammatical accuracy.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop creative campaigns.
Video Editing
- Edit promotional videos, reels, product demos, corporate videos, and social media content.
- Add transitions, graphics, subtitles, animations, music, and visual effects to enhance video quality.
- Create short-form content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Ensure videos meet brand guidelines and maintain high production quality.
- Optimize videos for different digital platforms.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong storytelling and creative writing abilities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
- Understanding of social media trends and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in content writing and video editing.
- A portfolio showcasing writing samples and edited videos is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in creating content for technology, real estate, home automation, or lifestyle brands.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation.
- Familiarity with AI-powered content creation and video editing tools.
