Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud services, infrastructure automation, and data platform engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud-based data solutions while ensuring security, reliability, and operational excellence. The role requires hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS IAM, CloudFormation, and AWS networking concepts. Exposure to Amazon EMR and big data technologies will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms and cloud-native data solutions on AWS.
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Configure and maintain AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles, policies, and security controls.
- Develop, optimize, and monitor data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and processing of structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Implement cloud governance, security, compliance, and access management best practices.
- Manage AWS networking components including VPCs, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, NAT Gateways, Load Balancers, and Private Endpoints.
- Support cloud infrastructure provisioning, automation, and environment management across development, testing, and production environments.
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Participate in architecture reviews and recommend improvements for scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Create technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
Required Skills :
1. AWS Cloud :
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Good understanding of cloud architecture and security best practices.
2. Infrastructure as Code :
- Terraform (mandatory)
- AWS CloudFormation
- Infrastructure automation and CI/CD integration
3. Security & Access Management :
- AWS IAM
- Role-based access control (RBAC)
- Security policies and governance
4. AWS Networking :
- VPC Design and Configuration
- Security Groups and NACLs
- Route Tables
- Load Balancers
- VPN and Connectivity Concepts
- DNS and Route 53
5. Data Engineering :
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts.
- SQL and Python programming skills.
- Understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
Preferred Skills :
- Exposure to Amazon EMR and big data ecosystems.
- Experience with Spark, Hadoop, or distributed data processing frameworks.
- Knowledge of AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, Athena, Redshift, or related AWS analytics services.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.
- AWS certifications will be an added advantage.
Pay: Up to ₹3,600,000.00 per year
