COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) Trainer – Job Description
1. Brief About the Position / Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced COPA Trainer to deliver classroom and practical training to ITI students in the Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) trade. The trainer will be responsible for providing industry-oriented technical knowledge, practical computer skills, and employability training while ensuring students are job-ready.
2. Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom and practical training as per NCVT/SCVT COPA curriculum.
- Train students in Computer Fundamentals, MS Office, Internet Applications, Programming Basics, Operating Systems, and Database concepts.
- Conduct hands-on practical sessions and lab activities.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance through practical exams, projects, and tests.
- Maintain attendance, training records, and student progress reports.
- Guide students in project work and interview preparation.
- Stay updated with the latest computer technologies and software applications.

6. Grade & Salary
Grade: Trainer / Senior Trainer
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹32,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)
7. Qualification & ExperienceQualification:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) or equivalent.
- ITI COPA / DOEACC 'O' Level / Relevant Computer Certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in COPA/Computer Training or Technical Training.
- Experience in Skill Development, ITI, or Vocational Training preferred.
8. KPI / KRA
- Minimum 95% training schedule adherence.
- Maintain trainee attendance above 85%.
- Assessment pass percentage above 80%.
- Ensure practical skill development and course completion.
- Maintain accurate training documentation and reports.
- Support student placements and improve employability outcomes.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
