Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Student Recruitment & Outreach Specialist to identify, engage, and enroll students into our cybersecurity training programs.
The ideal candidate will establish relationships with colleges, universities, professors, career service departments, student organizations, and recent graduates to build and manage training cohorts (batches) for Cyber Skill Nexus programs.
Key Responsibilities
Student Recruitment & Enrollment
- Recruit college students, recent graduates, and career-transition candidates for cybersecurity training programs.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into enrolled students.
- Build and maintain enrollment pipelines.
University & College Outreach
- Connect with professors, department heads, career services offices, and student organizations.
- Schedule informational sessions, webinars, and campus presentations.
- Develop partnerships with colleges and universities across the United States.
Batch Formation & Program Coordination
- Organize student cohorts for upcoming cybersecurity training batches.
- Maintain enrollment records and attendance tracking.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities.
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Promote programs through LinkedIn, Facebook, university groups, alumni networks, and professional associations.
- Conduct outreach campaigns via email, phone calls, and social media.
- Represent Cyber Skill Nexus at career fairs, educational events, and networking sessions.
Reporting & CRM Management
- Maintain candidate information in CRM systems.
- Track outreach activities, enrollments, and conversion metrics.
- Submit weekly recruitment reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience in recruiting, admissions counseling, student outreach, talent acquisition, sales, or business development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable speaking with professors, students, career advisors, and academic leadership.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, and CRM tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with colleges or universities.
- Background in education, workforce development, staffing, or training organizations.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, information technology, or technical training programs.
- Existing network within academic institutions is a plus.

The selected candidate will be expected to:
- Build relationships with at least 20+ colleges and universities monthly.
- Conduct outreach to professors and career service departments.
- Generate qualified student leads.
- Create and fill cybersecurity training batches.
- Meet monthly enrollment targets.
