Job Description – Team Leader (Sales Operations & Field Support)
Role Overview
The Team Leader – Sales Operations & Field Support is responsible for leading day-to-day sales support activities, ensuring operational excellence, monitoring team performance, and driving sales productivity. The role acts as a key link between field sales teams, channel partners, branches, and the corporate office by ensuring timely reporting, effective coordination, and successful execution of sales and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Coordination
- Lead and coordinate sales support activities across TDP, branches, and Head Office to ensure seamless business operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely data visibility for sales teams and management.
- Monitor sales processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Support field teams by resolving operational issues and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
MIS & Performance Management
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports with relevant stakeholders.
- Track team-wise goals, KPIs, productivity, and sales performance.
- Analyze individual and team performance to identify improvement opportunities and recommend action plans.
- Maintain reports related to stock, secondary sales, market outstanding, productivity, and other operational metrics.
Team Leadership
- Guide, mentor, and support team members to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, communicate updates, and address operational challenges.
Marketing & Sales Enablement
- Plan and execute local marketing campaigns, sales drives, and promotional activities to enhance market penetration.
- Ensure timely distribution of marketing collateral across CP and Non-CP networks.
- Communicate sales campaigns, contests, incentive programs, and engagement initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance & Budget Management
- Provide accurate operational data for audits and compliance requirements.
- Monitor operational expenses against approved budgets and ensure cost optimization.
- Maintain adherence to company policies, processes, and reporting standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for sales teams regarding operational support.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments, channel partners, and management to ensure smooth execution of business activities.
- Escalate critical operational issues promptly and recommend appropriate solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline .
- 3–6 years of experience in Sales Operations, Field Sales Support, Sales Coordination, or Team Leadership.
- Experience in FMCG, Telecom, Software Industry , or Channel Sales environment will be preferred.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
