CIVIL SUPERVISOR – JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Civil Supervisor
Department: Projects & Maintenance
Location: Kerala
Experience: 3-5+ Years
Qualification: Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor civil construction, renovation, and maintenance works at company showrooms and sites.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, workers, vendors, architects, and project teams.
- Monitor daily labour attendance, work progress, and material requirements.
- Check the quality of masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, roofing, plumbing, and other civil works.
- Take site measurements and assist with BOQ, material estimation, and contractor billing.
- Identify and resolve day-to-day site and construction issues.
- Ensure proper utilization of construction materials and minimize material wastage.
- Maintain daily site reports, measurements, photographs, and progress updates.
- Ensure workers follow required safety procedures and site discipline.
- Coordinate with the Civil Manager and report project progress and issues regularly.
- Travel to different showroom locations across Kerala as required.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of civil construction and site supervision.
- Ability to manage contractors and workers.
- Knowledge of BOQ, measurements, estimation, and billing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to read and understand civil drawings.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and site-management skills.
- Willingness to travel across Kerala.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in retail showroom construction, commercial buildings, renovation, interiors, or maintenance projects will be preferred.
Salary: Best in Industry / Based on Experience
