Positions Open : SME Reviewer and Subject Head
About the Project
We are developing a large-scale IELTS Academic Question Bank covering Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
We are looking for experienced IELTS professionals who can create, review, correct, and quality-check AI-assisted assessment content according to IELTS Academic formats and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and/or review IELTS Academic Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking content
- Check question formats, instructions, answer keys, explanations, and scoring guidance
- Review reading passages, listening scripts, writing tasks, speaking prompts, and model responses
- Validate skill, question type, difficulty, CEFR level, and assessment tagging
- Check distractors, rubrics, task requirements, and answer accuracy
- Identify and correct vague, repetitive, invalid, or exam-inappropriate questions
- Rework content and make it error-free and submission-ready
- Assemble and review complete IELTS mock papers
Additional Responsibilities for Subject Heads
- Generate IELTS content using approved AI workflows
- Review and revalidate SME Reviewer work
- Ensure alignment with IELTS Academic task formats
- Guide reviewers and resolve assessment-related doubts
- Make final academic corrections before submission
- Maintain consistency across large content batches
Required Profile
- Strong knowledge of IELTS Academic
- Experience as an IELTS trainer, content developer, reviewer, examiner, or academic coordinator
- Strong command of grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and academic writing
- Familiarity with IELTS band descriptors and assessment criteria
- Experience developing or reviewing IELTS mock tests, question banks, or model responses
- Strong editing, proofreading, and academic QA skills
- Comfortable using AI tools, Google Docs, Excel, and Google Sheets
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related subject
- IELTS teaching certification or relevant international English-training experience
- Experience in assessment development or educational publishing
Availability
- Minimum 4–5 hours per day
- Long-term project commitment
- Screening task and NDA mandatory
