Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore for a Career Counselor. The primary responsibility of the Career Counselor is to guide prospective learners in choosing the right educational programs based on their academic background, career aspirations, and professional goals. The role involves counseling students, addressing their queries, building trust, and assisting them throughout the enrollment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students regarding various educational programs and career opportunities.
- Understand students' academic and professional goals and recommend suitable courses.
- Handle inquiries through calls, emails, and online platforms.
- Provide accurate information about program features, eligibility, fees, and career outcomes.
- Follow up with interested candidates and support them throughout the admission process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and working professionals.
- Achieve counseling and enrollment targets.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in the CRM system.
- Stay updated on industry trends, educational programs, and career opportunities.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counseling, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
- Customer-centric approach with good listening skills.
- Ability to guide and motivate students in making informed career decisions.
- Experience in Career Counseling, Academic Counseling, Education Counseling, or Sales is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and counseling processes is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the EdTech or Education industry is a plus.
