Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to lead and scale our investor acquisition efforts.
This is not a volume-based sales role. It involves high-value, relationship-driven investor engagement, where trust, positioning, and strong communication play a critical role.
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling a team of 6–8 executives, while also actively contributing to investor conversions.
Work Structure (Important)
- This is primarily an in-office role based in Mumbai
- Work from Home may be provided for a short initial period, based on mutual discussion
- Candidates must be open to working from office full-time after the initial phase
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and engage potential investors through LinkedIn, personal networks, and references
- Build strong relationships and convert prospects into investors through strategic communication
- Lead and manage a team of 6–8 Sales Executives / BDEs
- Train, guide, and monitor team performance on a daily basis
- Handle high-value investor conversations, objections, and deal closures
- Develop and refine pitch strategies, follow-up systems, and conversion processes
- Maintain proper reporting, pipeline tracking, and performance metrics
- Work closely with leadership to improve sales effectiveness and scale operations
Required Skills
- Strong communication & presentation skills (English + Hindi)
- Proven experience in high-ticket / relationship-driven sales
- Excellent objection handling and negotiation ability
- Ability to build trust and long-term client relationships
- Team handling and leadership mindset
- Self-driven, disciplined, and result-oriented
Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Sales / Business Development
- Prior experience in Investor Acquisition / Financial Products / Consulting Sales / High-Value Sales preferred
- Experience in handling a team of 4–10 members is a plus
Compensation Structure
Flexible engagement based on performance and alignment:
- KPI-Based Structure: Fixed Salary + Targets + Incentives + Performance Bonus
- Freelance / Incentive Model (optional)
- Trial Phase Option (7–10 Days) before long-term engagement
