Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts.
Duties
- Develop CNC programs using CAM programming software
- Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts
- Perform quality checks using tools such as calipers and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Collaborate with engineers to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Utilize knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) for specific projects
- Apply mechanical knowledge to ensure proper machine operation
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes
Requirements
- Experience with CAM programming for CNC machines
- Strong understanding of CNC operations and tooling
- Knowledge of machining processes and materials
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
