Responsibilities
- Purchase of Raw Materials, Merchandise, Reclaimed Raw Materials & Services.
- Study the requirement from users' team and selection of suitable suppliers.
- Releasing Purchase Order/ Contract & follow-up & expediting.
- Import Procedure & Logistics of Imported Materials.
- Monitor contract performance.
- Update and checks on safety, quality & Guarantee documentation.
- Compliance to health and safety regulations of Calderys Group.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and procure materials in accordance with the company policy and negotiated terms and conditions.
- Take appropriate corrective and preventive actions for the goods / services rejected in-house.
- Undertakes continuous improvement actions to strengthen systems and processes.
- Implement Purchase Policy & Procedures.
- Determine, track and continuously improve on the Key KPIs.
Profile/Competencies
Education, background, level of experience:
- B. E /B.Tech (Ceramics, Mechanical, Chemical, / MSc (Geology/Chemistry).
- Min 10 years relevant working experience in Purchase in Manufacturing/ Refractory, Cement/ Steel/ Power.
Manufacturing Industries :
- Sound knowledge of Safety.
- Good working experience in ERP, SAP –MM Module/ MS-Project.
- Hands-on experience in Manufacturing Plant.
- Vendor development, Import substitutions.
Knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics:

- Well-organized able to handle multiple priorities and flexible.
- Strong creative mind-set, self-starter, team player, strategic thinker.
- Ability to interpret Engineering Drawing and lay-out.

- Good management skill-Computer literate with advanced level in MS Excel and Power-point.
