Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in API Automation using Rest Assured and Web/UI Automation using Java and Selenium.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of automation testing frameworks, software testing processes, object-oriented programming, API testing, and web automation. The candidate will work as an Individual Contributor and should be capable of managing stakeholder and client communication effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
- Develop and enhance UI and API automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
- Perform API testing and validate request and response data, status codes, authentication, and business workflows.
- Create reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation test components.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Ensure adequate test coverage across UI and API applications.
- Identify, document, track, and support the resolution of software defects.
- Collaborate with development, QA, business, stakeholder, and client teams.
- Participate in stakeholder and client discussions and provide clear testing updates.
- Take ownership of assigned deliverables and work independently as an Individual Contributor.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Java, Rest Assured, and API Automation Testing.
- Strong experience in Selenium Web Automation.
- Proficiency in Java and the ability to write simple code snippets to solve real-world problems.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis, and problem-solving.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Good knowledge of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of UI and API Automation Frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in both UI Automation and API Automation.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in managing stakeholder and client communication.
- Ability to work independently as an Individual Contributor.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong API Automation experience using Rest Assured.
- Strong Web/UI Automation experience using Java and Selenium.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in both API and web automation will be preferred.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a maximum of one week will be given priority.
- Candidates serving a 30-day notice period will not be considered.

Pay: ₹824,471.07 - ₹1,602,295.51 per year
