- Quality control: Designing and implementing quality control processes to ensure products and services meet quality standards
- Customer requirements: Reviewing customer feedback and requirements to ensure products and services meet customer expectations
- Production: Managing waste and improving production efficiency
- Training: Training and managing quality control teams
- Reporting: Preparing performance reports and documenting procedural changes
- Collaboration: Collaborating with other managers, staff, suppliers, and vendors
- Compliance: Ensuring that all processes meet safety, legal, and other standards
- Problem-solving: Investigating root causes of defects and recommending solutions
