Job Overview
W are looking for an experienced Backend Developer – http://Node.js with 3+ years of professional experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications and REST APIs. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with http://Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, databases, API development, and server-side application development, along with practical experience in AWS or Linux production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using http://Node.js
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs - Implement business logic, validations, authentication, and authorization
- Design and optimize relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Develop reusable and maintainable backend services
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services - Implement payment gateways, webhooks, email, SMS, and notification services
- Develop background jobs, scheduled tasks, and queue-based processing - Implement proper error handling, logging, and monitoring
- Optimize API performance, database queries, and server-side processes
-Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
-Write unit and integration tests
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams
- Deploy and maintain applications in AWS/Linux server environments
Required Skills :
Node.js:
Strong hands-on with http://Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, http://Express.js/NestJS, REST API development, Asynchronous programming, Promises/Async-Await, Middleware, Error handling, Authentication & Authorization, JWT, API security, Webhooks
Database:
PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB | Database design, Relationships, Complex queries, Indexing, Transactions, Query optimization, ORM/ODM such as Prisma, TypeORM, Sequelize, or Mongoose
API & Integration:
RESTful API, JSON, Third-party API integration, Payment gateway integration, Webhooks, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, API versioning
AWS/Server-Side:
3+ years backend/server-side, AWS or Linux production servers, AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda – preferred, CloudWatch, Linux/Ubuntu, Nginx, PM2, SSL, Environment configuration, Server deployment & troubleshooting
Tools:
Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, npm/yarn/pnpm, Docker, Postman, VS Code, CI/CD pipelines
Project Experience
At least one production-level http://Node.js project involving: User Management, Auth & Authorization, Role & Permission Management, Admin Dashboard APIs, REST APIs, Database-driven business logic, Third-party integrations, Payment Gateway Integration, Notifications, Background Jobs, Queue Processing, File Upload/Storage, Reports & Analytics, Production Deployment, Server Monitoring, Performance Optimization
E-Commerce Experienced – Preferred
Product → Category → Inventory → Cart → Checkout → Payment → Order → Shipping → Return/Refund Admin → Product Management → Inventory → Customer Management → Order Management → Promotions → Reports
Good to Have:

Qualification:
