Objective
To lead pharmaceutical sales operations in the assigned territory by implementing effective sales strategies, mentoring and guiding a team of Medical Representatives, and driving market penetration across Ortho, Derma and General segment products.
Sales Strategy and Target Achievement
- Implement and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed regional targets.
- Set activity targets for the team and monitor their progress.
- Identify and prioritize high-potential markets to drive business growth.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Medical Sales Representatives.
- Provide regular training and development to ensure product knowledge and sales skills are up to date.
- Monitor and develop the performance of the sales team and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
Market Expansion and Territory Management
- Identify new business opportunities and expand into untapped markets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors and pharmacists.
- Ensure timely coverage of all key customers (KOLs) and accounts across the territory.
Business Development
- Manage relationships with distributors/stockists and retailers, ensuring product availability in the market.
- Negotiate terms and ensure proper placement of products in the territory.
- Track competitor activities and provide timely market feedback.
Reporting and Analysis
- Regularly report sales data and market insights to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Analyze sales trends and implement corrective actions where necessary, as per organizational policy and guidance.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and team performance.
Compliance and Regulatory
- Ensure that all activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Stay updated with industry standards and product certifications.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field (required).
