Job Description – Graduate Trainee Design Engineer (Fresher)

About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Trainee Design Engineers with strong CAD skills to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for product design, mechanical engineering, and 3D modeling. Fresh graduates with hands-on experience in any CAD software are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using CAD software.
Assist in product design, development, and engineering documentation.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
Support design modifications and engineering change activities.
Perform design calculations and basic tolerance analysis.
Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams.
Maintain design records, BOMs, and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements.
Required Skills
Proficiency in any CAD software such as:
PTC Creo
SolidWorks
AutoCAD
CATIA
Siemens NX
Good understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T fundamentals.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes is an added advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Educational Qualification
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, or related disciplines.
2024, 2025, and 2026 pass-outs can apply.
Preferred Qualifications
CAD certification or project experience.
Internship experience in design engineering.
Knowledge of sheet metal, plastic, casting, or machining components.
