Job Summary
We are looking for a Career Advisor who can guide students and early professionals toward the right courses and internship programs. The role involves student interaction, needs assessment, database handling, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth enrolment and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counseling & Communication
- Contact prospective students to explain available courses and internship programs.
- Understand the academic and professional background of students and identify their career goals.
- Provide suitable course and internship recommendations based on individual needs.
- Guide students who are planning a career transition with clear and relevant options.
Lead Handling & Enrolment Support
- Handle and process assigned databases in a professional and organized manner.
- Convert qualified enquiries into confirmed enrolments through effective communication.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and ensure timely responses to student queries.
Data & CRM Management
- Update and maintain student data, call status, and follow-up details using spreadsheets and CRM tools.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of records on a regular basis.
- Share reports and updates as required.
Coordination & Relationship Building
- Coordinate with Sales and Digital Marketing teams to exchange lead insights and student feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and past students.
- Collect structured feedback from interns and share insights with the operations team for training improvement.
Institutional Interaction (As Required)
- Represent the organization during visits to colleges to discuss training programs with academic authorities.
- Support the establishment of add-on training associations with educational institutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Good time management and scheduling abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations, spreadsheets, and CRM tools.
- Ability to communicate confidently using professional and technical terminology.
- Relationship-building and coordination skills.
- Fresher/Experience in academic counseling career guidance, or education-based roles is an advantage.
- Willingness to engage with students, institutions, and internal teams.
