Junior Content Creator
Location: Mohali | Type: Full-time | Experience: 1–2 Years | Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000/month
About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Junior Content Creator to script, shoot, and edit content for our brand — from short-form social videos to longer promotional pieces. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role: you will write the idea, film it, and cut the final video yourself, working closely with the team on what to make next.
This role is ideal for a film making school graduate with a few years of hands-on experience who wants to own the full content pipeline end-to-end and grow quickly into a more senior creative role.
What You Will Do
Content Scripting
- Write short scripts, hooks, and outlines for social and promotional videos
- Turn a brief or rough idea into a clear, shoot-ready script
- Research trends and formats relevant to the brand and audience
Filming
- Shoot content independently — solo pieces, interviews, product shots, and short scenes
- Set up basic lighting, framing, and audio for a clean, usable shoot
- Coordinate shoot logistics — locations, props, and schedules — with minimal supervision
Editing
- Edit raw footage into polished final videos — pacing, cuts, transitions, and sound
- Add captions, text overlays, and basic graphics suited to each platform
- Export and format content correctly for Instagram, YouTube, and other channels
Content Ownership
- Manage a personal content calendar and hit weekly output targets
- Organise and archive raw footage, project files, and final exports
- Track what content performs well and suggest ideas based on results
What We Expect
Experience: 1–2 years — hands-on experience across scripting, filming, and editing preferred
Education: Diploma or degree from a recognised film making school (required)
Portfolio: Must share a reel, YouTube/Instagram channel, or sample edits from coursework or personal projects
Availability: Full-time, in-house. Comfortable with quick-turnaround content and shoot-day schedules
Must-Have Skills
- Graduate of a recognised film making school or equivalent hands-on training
- Working knowledge of at least one editing tool (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar edits)
- Comfortable shooting solo without a full crew
- Basic scripting or content-writing ability — can turn an idea into a clear shot list
- A portfolio, reel, or sample content that demonstrates real work, not just coursework theory
Good to Have
- Personal YouTube, Instagram, or short-film content already published
- Familiarity with trending short-form formats (Reels, Shorts)
- Basic knowledge of colour grading or sound design
- Comfortable appearing on camera when needed

You have finished projects, not just film-school assignments. You can shoot and cut something usable without waiting for instructions. You know how a video should feel on Instagram versus YouTube. You are hungry to build a portfolio and open to fast, honest feedback.
