Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality & Process Documentation professional with 2–4 years of experience in standardization, SOP development, quality control, and process improvement. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining process standards, preparing SOPs, monitoring quality performance, and providing accurate quality data through the Chain App.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, standardize, and maintain process documentation across manufacturing operations.
- Create, review, update, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Ensure processes are followed as per defined quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular quality checks and identify process deviations and quality issues.
- Support quality control and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve process efficiency.
- Analyze quality-related data and identify trends, recurring defects, and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and other departments for effective implementation of standards and corrective actions.
- Maintain proper documentation of quality procedures, inspection records, corrective actions, and process changes.
- Provide timely and accurate quality-related data through the Chain App.
- Ensure Chain App data is updated accurately and within the required timelines.
- Prepare quality reports and support management with relevant data and analysis.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct process audits and support internal quality improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and established processes.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of SOP creation and process documentation.
- Understanding of Quality Control and Quality Improvement methodologies.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify process gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work with quality data and prepare reports.
- Familiarity with Chain App / quality data management systems will be an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in jewellery manufacturing, manufacturing, quality, process improvement, or documentation.
