We are seeking a versatile Graduate Robotics & Mechatronics Engineer for a high-intensity, 3-month product development sprint. This role sits at the intersection of mechanical design, hardware electronics, and firmware programming. You will work directly with our core engineering team to take custom PCB designs, 3D CAD models, and microcontroller firmware from prototype to functional field-ready hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical Design & DFM: Create detailed 3D CAD models and production-ready technical drawings. Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) insights to optimize parts for fast fabrication.
- Electronics & PCB Design: Layout, prototype, and test custom PCBs (using KiCad or similar suites), ensuring seamless integration with mechanical housings.
- Firmware Development: Write and debug clean, optimized code in C++ or Python to program microcontrollers and handle sensor-actuator feedback loops.
- Hands-on Prototyping: Operate workshop machinery (lathes, CNCs, 3D printers) and electronics lab equipment to assemble and test electromechanical systems.
- Assembly & Finishing: Confidently use standard hand and power tools (drills, grinders, sanders) for physical hardware modifications and final device assembly.
Qualifications & Technical Requirements
- Education: Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related allied branch.
- Software & Coding: * Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA).
- Familiarity with electronic design software (e.g., KiCad, Eagle).
- Solid fundamentals in C++ and Python for embedded systems.
- Practical Workshop Skills: Experience handling electronic test equipment and standard workshop machine tools.
- Hardware Portfolio: A proven track record of actually building physical, functional hardware (e.g., robotics, IoT devices, automation systems, or complex capstone projects).
- Mindset: Ability to handle tight deadlines, a sharp eye for engineering detail, and a strong drive to execute.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
