Job Description – Accounts Head
Position: Accounts Head
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reporting To: Director / Management
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, MIS).
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
- Handle taxation and statutory compliances (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.).
- Coordinate internal and statutory audits.
- Process payroll and ensure timely salary disbursement.
- Verify vendor bills and manage payment cycles.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage banking operations.
- Maintain petty cash and monitor daily financial transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and expense reports.
- Reconcile fee collections across centres and coordinate with centre teams.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
- Supervise and guide the accounts team.
Qualifications
- B.Com/M.Com ( MBA Finance preferred).
Experience
- 5–8 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Skills
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹48,000.00 per hour
