The Plant & Machinery Maintenance Trainee will undergo structured, hands-on training to maintain and repair specialized manufacturing equipment used in Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) production. Under the guidance of senior maintenance engineers, the trainee will learn to ensure the high availability and precision of heavy fabrication machinery, automated welding lines, and material handling systems.
This role is ideal for a proactive technical graduate eager to develop expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems within a modern steel fabrication environment.
PEB Machinery Preventive Maintenance
- Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for core PEB machinery, including:
- CNC Oxy-Fuel / Plasma Cutting Machines
- Automatic H-Beam Welding & Pull-through Lines
- Hydraulic Shearing, Press Brakes, and Cold Roll Forming Mills
- Shot Blasting and Airless Paint Spraying Systems
- Learn to check, clean, and lubricate linear guides, gears, pneumatic cylinders, and hydraulic pumps.
2. Breakdown Support & Troubleshooting
- Accompany senior technicians to diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and minor electrical faults during production breakdowns.
- Assist in replacing worn-out components such as cutting torches, welding nozzles, rollers, seals, and drive belts.
- Learn to read machinery manuals and hydraulic/pneumatic circuit diagrams to speed up troubleshooting.
3. Material Handling Equipment Support
- Assist in checking and maintaining heavy material handling assets critical to PEB plants, such as EOT (Electric Overhead Traveling) Cranes, gantry cranes, and forklifts, ensuring their safe operation.
4. Utility Maintenance & Logistics
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
