The Sr. Manager OEC monitoring will provide advice and counsel on matters of compliance and ethical business practices.
Primary Job Function

Abbott is currently seeking an experienced professional to drive deployment of complex elements of Abbott’s compliance program for MedTech Devices and Diagnostic division for India.
Key job requirements include:

Work quickly to understand Abbott business structures, practices, Compliance policies and procedures to provide policy and documentation advice.

Collaborate and consult with cross functional teams to ensure the successful integration and implementation of compliance and ethics policies and procedures
-
Conduct compliance risk assessment to identify potential risk areas and drive implementation of appropriate risk management programs
-
Work closely with compliance counterparts to establish consistent compliance practices across affiliates.

Development and implementation of compliance monitoring plan, identifying compliance risk areas and action plans to address risk.

Conducting training for new joiners as well as customized training for groups based on Compliance requirements.

Contribute to Quarterly Compliance meetings with the senior leadership with dash boards for appropriate report outs.

Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations (e.g., local healthcare laws, patient privacy regulations, anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws, industry codes).

Conduct periodic reviews and updates related to complex OEC policy and divisional/affiliate procedures ensuring clarity, applicability and compliance to OEC policy and external requirements

Managing Corporate Audit and external audit requirements.
Data Privacy

Work closely with cross functional teams like Global Privacy office, legal, IT review of compliance with and implementation of required controls for compliance with data privacy and DPDP related requirements.

Central point of contact to maintain records of all data processing activities of the company

Understanding of dealing with Data subject requests

Ability to devise training plans and conduct Data Privacy training and craft communications around the data privacy related elements.
Skill, Education, Experience
Required Education / Experience
-
Life sciences Graduate or above/Lawyer/CA with previous experience in a Compliance Role of a multinational Healthcare Company (med devices preferred).

Ideally the candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of related professional experience including some pharmaceutical or health care compliance program experience as either a member of a multinational compliance team, consultant, or outside counsel.
