*JOB PURPOSE*
The Psychologist at Hugcare Health Pvt. Ltd. is responsible for providing ethical, professional, compassionate, and evidence-based psychological services to clients while actively contributing to Hugcare’s clinical, corporate wellness, community mental-health, internship, and awareness programs.
Our objective is not only to provide counselling but also to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can improve their psychological well-being and quality of life.
*KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
*1. Psychological Counselling & Client Care*
* Conduct individual psychological counselling sessions.
* Conduct couple, family, adolescent, and group counselling when assigned.
* Understand clients’ psychological, emotional, behavioural, family, relationship, academic, and workplace concerns.
* Develop appropriate counselling and psychological intervention plans.
* Conduct follow-up sessions and monitor client progress.
* Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.
* Identify clients requiring psychiatric or other specialist evaluation and make appropriate referrals.
*2. Psychological Assessment & Documentation*
* Conduct psychological screening and assessments within the psychologist’s professional scope and qualifications.
* Maintain accurate client case histories, session notes, assessment records, follow-up reports, and other required documentation.
* Prepare psychological reports when professionally appropriate and authorized.
* Ensure all confidential client information is handled securely.
*3. Corporate Employee Wellness*
* Participate in Hugcare’s corporate employee wellness programs.
* Provide workplace counselling and psychological support to employees.
* Conduct stress-management, emotional well-being, work-life balance, burnout-prevention, and motivational sessions.
* Participate in departmental counselling camps and employee wellness activities.
* Support HR and management in developing psychologically healthy workplaces while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
*4. Counselling Camps & Community Programs*
Psychologists may be assigned to participate in or coordinate:
* One-day counselling camps
* Institutional mental-health programs
* Corporate counselling camps
* School and college programs
* Old-age-home programs
* Special-school programs
* Community mental-health campaigns
* Parenting programs
* Couple and family wellness programs
* Mental-health awareness campaigns
*5. Internship & Student Training*
* Support psychology internship programs conducted by Hugcare.
* Guide psychology students during practical exposure and field activities.
* Conduct case discussions, counselling demonstrations, workshops, and academic sessions where appropriate.
* Supervise assigned student activities and provide constructive professional feedback.
*6. Crisis & Risk Management*
* Recognize warning signs of psychological crisis or significant risk.
* Follow Hugcare’s established escalation and emergency procedures.
* Refer clients requiring urgent psychiatric or medical intervention to the appropriate qualified professional or healthcare facility.
* Document and communicate significant clinical concerns according to organizational protocols.
*7. Professional & Ethical* *Responsibilities*
* Follow applicable professional ethics, confidentiality requirements, organizational policies, and legal standards.
* Practice strictly within one’s qualifications, competence, and authorized professional scope.
* Maintain respectful and non-judgmental communication with every client.
* Attend professional training, supervision, case discussions, and departmental meetings as required.
* Continuously update professional knowledge and counselling skills.
*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*
* Master’s degree in Psychology or a relevant psychology specialization from a recognized institution.
* Strong counselling, communication, observation, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
* Relevant clinical/counselling *experience is preferred.*

Pay: ₹11,668.49 - ₹20,000.00 per month
