Role Overview - Required Profile An Accounts Manager in a wedding planning company handles all financial aspects of events—from budgeting to vendor payments—ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Key Responsibilities Budget Planning: Create and manage budgets for weddings (which can range from small events to luxury multi-day celebrations). Client Billing: Prepare invoices, track payments, and follow up with clients. Vendor Payments: Coordinate payments to decorators, caterers, photographers, venues, etc. Cost Control: Monitor expenses to avoid overspending. Financial Reporting: Maintain records, generate reports, and ensure transparency. Tax & Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, and other financial regulations relevant in India.
Skills Required Strong knowledge of accounting (Tally, GST, Excel) Attention to detail (weddings have many small expenses!) Communication skills (dealing with clients & vendors) Time management (tight deadlines during wedding season)
Qualifications B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred Experience in accounting or event management industry is a plus
