Job Title: QA/QC Engineer – Civil Works

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for civil construction and finishing works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications and quality standards while maintaining comprehensive quality documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of civil construction and finishing works at various stages of project execution.
- Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, specifications and company quality standards.
- Inspect incoming construction materials and verify compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor workmanship and identify quality issues, defects or non-conformities.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality checklists and QA/QC documentation.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants and subcontractors on quality-related matters.
- Ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions for identified quality issues.
- Participate in client, consultant and internal quality inspections and audits.
- Monitor finishing works, including flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, false ceiling, plastering and other architectural finishes.
Requirements
- B.Tech/BE in Civil Engineering with 5 years of construction experience of which minimum 2 years in QA/QC or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 8 years of construction experience of which minimum 5 years in QA/QC.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, finishing works and quality control procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and construction drawings.
- Experience in quality inspections, material verification and documentation.
- Good communication, coordination and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential, commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Knowledge of construction quality standards, inspection procedures and testing methods.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
