As SEO Manager, you'll own organic search performance for a portfolio of client accounts. You'll set strategy, run the day-to-day execution, and be the SEO point of contact clients trust. This is a hands-on role: you'll be in the data, in the briefs, and in client calls. You'll also work closely with our content, dev, and account teams to ship work that actually moves rankings and revenue.
This is an on-site position based at our Lower Parel office, with the full team in-house 5 days a week.
What you'll do
- Own SEO strategy and roadmaps for a portfolio of [3–6] client accounts, tied to each client's business goals
- Run technical audits and prioritize fixes — crawlability, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, indexation, structured data
- Lead keyword research, content gap analysis, and on-page optimization
- Plan and oversee link-building / digital PR campaigns and monitor backlink health
- Brief and review content, working with writers and the content team to ship optimized pages
- Translate technical recommendations into clear tickets for client or in-house dev teams, and see them through to implementation
- Build and present monthly performance reports — surface wins, explain dips, and recommend next steps
- Act as the SEO lead on client calls: set expectations, answer questions, and keep accounts on track
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates, SERP feature shifts, and AI search changes, and adjust strategy accordingly
- Mentor junior team members and review their work [if applicable]
What we're looking for
- 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or managing multiple accounts at once
- Strong grasp of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO — you can audit a site and know what to fix first
- Fluency with the core toolkit: Google Search Console, GA4, and at least one of Ahrefs / Semrush / Screaming Frog
- Comfortable reading data and turning it into a clear story for clients
- Solid communicator — you can explain SEO to a non-technical client without losing them
- Organized and able to juggle competing deadlines across several accounts
- Self-directed; you don't need to be told what the next priority is
