Earthcraft Solar is a fast-growing Solar EPC company specializing in residential, commercial, industrial, and government solar projects, including PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. We are looking for an experienced Product Trainer who can build the technical knowledge and sales capabilities of our sales team, channel partners, and installation teams.
Job Summary
The Product Trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering technical and sales training programs related to solar PV systems. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of solar products, EPC processes, government subsidy schemes, and excellent presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct product training for Sales, Business Development, Installation, and Service teams.
- Train employees on:
- On-Grid Solar Systems
- Hybrid Solar Systems
- Off-Grid Solar Systems
- Solar Inverters
- Solar Panels
- Battery Storage Solutions
- Mounting Structures
- Deliver training on PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, subsidy process, and customer eligibility.
- Explain system design concepts, energy generation calculations, shadow analysis, and ROI.
- Prepare training materials including:
- PPTs
- Product Manuals
- Videos
- SOPs
- Quick Reference Guides
- Conduct product demonstrations and practical sessions.
- Organize onboarding training for new employees.
- Evaluate trainees through assessments and practical tests.
- Coordinate with OEMs and product manufacturers for new product updates.
- Gather training feedback and continuously improve training content.
- Support sales teams during product launches and technical presentations.
- Travel to branch offices for training sessions when required.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of Solar PV technology
- Knowledge of Solar EPC project lifecycle
- Understanding of Net Metering and Electrical Safety
- Knowledge of PM Surya Ghar Scheme
- Strong MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Good public speaking and classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or Mechanical Engineering
- Certification in Solar PV (NISE, Skill Council for Green Jobs, or equivalent preferred)
- Experience with Solar Design Software such as AutoCAD, Helioscope, or PVsyst is an advantage.
- Valid Driving License
Experience
- 3–7 years in Solar EPC, Solar Products, Technical Training, or Product Management.
- Experience in conducting technical training programs is preferred. Similar roles commonly emphasize field training, troubleshooting, assessments, and practical demonstrations.
