The Role
We are seeking a versatile Video Editor & Social Media Manager who can do it all: shoot compelling footage, edit high-energy videos, design eye-catching posts, and manage our brand's presence across social media platforms. If you have a knack for cinematic storytelling and know how to capture an audience's attention, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Production & Shooting: Plan and shoot high-quality video content, taking charge of camera operation, lighting, and basic audio recording for educational content and promotional material.
- Advanced Video Editing: Edit fast-paced, high-energy, and documentary-style video essays, Shorts, and Reels.
- Social Media Management: Handle day-to-day operations across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook). Schedule posts, write engaging captions in Hinglish, and interact with our community to drive organic growth.
- Graphic Design: Create visually appealing static posts, carousels, and high-CTR (Click-Through Rate) YouTube thumbnails.
- Strategy & Analytics: Monitor social media trends, track content performance, and adjust strategies to maximize reach and engagement within the education sector.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, Videographer, or Content Creator (a strong portfolio or showreel is required).
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro) and familiarity with mobile-first editors (e.g., KineMaster, CapCut).
- Experience with camera equipment, lighting setups, and audio gear.
- A strong understanding of the Indian digital landscape, with the ability to script and conceptualize content seamlessly in Hinglish.
- A keen eye for cinematic styling, pacing, and modern aesthetic trends.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
