Operations Manager (Engineering Background)
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly disciplined and experienced Operations Manager with an Ex-Defence or Engineering background to oversee end-to-end operations and logistics for our Alcobev business. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, process control, logistics expertise, and operational discipline to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operational activities across production, supply chain, and vendor coordination.
- Manage operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless operational execution.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs and operational processes.
- Implement operational discipline, reporting structures, and process efficiency improvements.
- Handle crisis management, contingency planning, and operational problem-solving.
- Maintain documentation, MIS reports, and operational records.
- Supervise and train support staff, ensuring discipline, accountability, and high performance.
- Support management in driving operational excellence and continuous process improvement.
Candidate Profile:
- Retired Defence personnel (JCO/Senior NCO/Officer level preferred) or candidates with a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in operations, manufacturing, administration, or a similar operational role.
- Strong understanding of process-driven operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of operations.
- High integrity, strong leadership skills, discipline, and accountability.
- Prior experience in FMCG, beverage, manufacturing, or logistics-intensive environments will be an added advantage.
