Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Estimation Engineer – Electrical Panel to handle electrical panel costing, estimation, and techno-commercial activities. The candidate should have experience in electrical panel manufacturing, understanding of technical specifications, and the ability to prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for electrical panels such as LT Panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, AMF, Control Panels, and Distribution Panels.
- Analyze customer specifications, BOQ, drawings, and tender documents.
- Prepare material costing and select suitable electrical components as per requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for component pricing and technical information.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and quotation documents.
- Review electrical drawings, SLDs, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with design, purchase, production, and sales teams.
- Maintain estimation records and update costing databases.
- Support tender preparation and customer clarification activities.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of quotations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–10 years of experience in electrical panel estimation and costing.
- Strong knowledge of LT electrical panels and switchgear components.
- Experience with panel manufacturing industry preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and costing tools.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and SLDs.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
