Job Description
Pathway Hospital is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Medico Legal Consultant to support healthcare operations by ensuring compliance with medical laws, regulations, and legal documentation standards. The candidate will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to manage medico-legal cases and provide legal guidance on healthcare matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and manage medico-legal cases and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and hospital policies.
- Prepare and verify medical records for legal proceedings when required.
- Coordinate with doctors, legal authorities, and insurance providers.
- Provide guidance on patient consent, documentation, and risk management.
- Assist in responding to legal notices and medico-legal inquiries.
- Conduct training sessions on medico-legal awareness and compliance.
Requirements
- MBBS/MD/PGDMLE or relevant healthcare qualification.
- Certification or experience in Medico-Legal Affairs preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in medico-legal case management.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and documentation practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
