Festivals From India is hiring for an Art Curator for a leading stone manufacturer who will be responsible for curating, managing, and operationalising gallery experiences, working closely with the Art CEO and Strategic Curator. This role ensures exceptional exhibitions, collector engagement, and seamless gallery operations.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Curatorial Studies, Museum Studies, Arts Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of art curation, exhibition planning, and gallery practices.
- A genuine interest in art, design, and innovative spatial experiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with artists, collectors, designers, and other stakeholders.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in gallery management, art curation, or a similar role within a well-established art gallery.
- Proven experience in curating exhibitions, exhibition planning, and managing gallery experiences.
- Experience managing art exhibits, including fabrication, preparation, presentation, installation, maintenance, and removal.
- Experience engaging with and building relationships with collectors, designers, artists, and the wider art community.
- Experience managing gallery operations, including display arrangements, lighting, climate control, logistics, and day-to-day gallery requirements.
- Experience working collaboratively with creative and strategic leadership teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Curatorial & Exhibition Management
- Implement and oversee the annual curatorial programme.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver exhibitions and gallery experiences.
- Manage the fabrication, preparation, presentation, and display of art exhibits.
2. Collector & Community Engagement
- Build and nurture relationships with collectors, designers, artists, and the wider art community.
- Develop and maintain a strong gallery community.
- Support meaningful engagement and experiences for collectors and visitors.
3. Gallery Operations
- Ensure the galleries function smoothly, including lighting, climate control, displays, and other facilities.
- Maintain high standards of gallery presentation and visitor experience.
- Coordinate operational requirements with relevant internal and external teams.
4. Installation & Logistics
- Oversee the delivery, installation, maintenance, and removal of exhibits.
- Coordinate fabrication, vendors, logistics, and installation requirements.
- Ensure exhibitions and installations are executed smoothly and to a high standard.
5. Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with the Art CEO and Strategic Curator to deliver the curatorial vision.
- Coordinate with creative and strategic teams to ensure seamless execution of gallery projects.
- Identify and resolve operational or exhibition-related challenges proactively.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 per year
