Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and creative Art Teacher to lead our Middle School students (Grades 6–8) and head our dedicated Art Club. The ideal candidate should be passionate about nurturing young artistic talent and facilitating hands-on creative workshops.
Key Terms & Work Schedule
* Employment Type: Contractual (6-Month Term)
* Working Days: Monday to Friday
* Daily School Timings: 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM
* Remuneration: Negotiable (Based on experience, portfolio, and skills)
Key Responsibilities
* Art Club Leadership: Design, organize, and execute engaging projects.
* Curriculum Delivery: Teach fundamental art techniques, colour theory, sketching and painting to middle school classes.
* Exhibition Management: Help students organize mini art exhibitions within the school campus.
* Material Management: Plan and maintain inventory for art supplies and classroom teaching aids safely.
* Positive Environment: Foster an inclusive, creative classroom where students feel free to express their original ideas.
Candidate Requirements
* Education: A Degree or Diploma in Fine Arts, Commercial Arts, or Visual Arts (B.F.A. preferred).
* Experience: Prior experience teaching art to middle school children or managing school art clubs is preferred.
* Communication: Ability to instruct and motivate young learners clearly and patiently.
