Job Summary
The Laser Cutting Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting machines to produce high-quality metal components according to engineering drawings and production schedules. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to maintaining product quality and machine efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Load and unload raw materials onto the machine safely.
- Select appropriate cutting parameters based on material type and thickness.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as required.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Replace consumables such as nozzles and lenses when necessary.
- Record production data, machine downtime, and quality inspection results.
- Identify and report machine malfunctions to the maintenance team.
- Follow production schedules to meet daily output targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
- Comply with all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
Safety Responsibilities
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Follow all machine safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices where applicable.
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment defects immediately.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Preferred Experience
- 1–5 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Experience with machines such as Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada, Bodor, or similar CNC laser systems is an advantage.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
